Official wind and wave reports for Lake Ontario may not accurately reflect the true conditions on the Lake. A call to a local bait shop or marina may be your best source for information about actual conditions.
Many forecasts are from Fulton, New York, south of Oswego, which is the nearest location for online reporting stations.
