The following public marinas and boat launches are available to get your boat into Eastern Lake Ontario. Some also provide access to the lower river. Some of these launches charge a day use or launch fee. Drift boat launches are not included.

Located at the mouth of Elk Creek in Girard Township. From Route 5 it is about one-half mile west of Route 18.
This is a nice, large state-operated facility with a paved lot, two launch lanes and the ability to handle almost any fishing boat. It is located at the mouth of the Little Salmon River. There is a $5 day use fee.

This is a hand-launch facility. It is located on the south side of the river and launches into the estuary. There is a day-use fee.
Salmon River Reservoir Launches
There are two hand launches into the lower reservoir. One is located on Hogs Back Road and the other is located on Route 22. The locations of these launches are shown on our angler maps.
