Blazing Hot Salmon

This recipe is for the brave, because if done right, you will gasp for air...I am sure you could use this recipe for other fish but salmon/steelhead seem to work the best...


  1. 1 portion salmon/steelhead (deboned and no skin)
  2. BBQ sauce (honey based works best)- 2oz
  3. Red pepper flakes
  4. Salt
  5. Pepper
  6. Lemon juice
  7. Butter
  8. Cajun seasoning


  1. First put the BBQ sauce in a bowl and add the butter (melted) and lemon juice (to taste). Take your salmon portion and cover it in the BBQ sauce, then sprinkle red pepper flakes and Cajun seasoning generously over the top of the portion and put on a baking sheet with foil and non-stick spray on it. Broil at 500 degrees until flaky then add salt and pepper before serving.
