Bait & Tackle Shops
We will list on our Bait & Tackle page any business that is operated primarily as a bait shop, bait and tackle shop, or fly fishing shop. We will also list other businesses which, in our opinion, offer bait, tackle or other fishing supplies as a substantial part of their business. To be listed, your business must be located within the location covered by our site. Currently, we will consider for inclusion on the Bait & Tackle page any business that is located (1) in Oswego County, New York, and (2) within twenty miles of Lake Ontario.
If you believe your business qualifies for listing, please contact us by email and provide to us the following information about your business: (1) Business name and address; (2) business telephone number; (3) email address if you have one; (4) web address if you have one; and (5) brief description of where your business is located.
River Guides
We will list on our River Guides page any person who operates a commercial river or stream guide service in the area covered by our site. Currently, we will consider for inclusion on the River Guides page any person who (1) regularly offers guided trips on any Lake Ontario tributary in Oswego County, New York and (2) is currently licensed by the State of New York as a fishing guide.
If you believe you qualify for listing, please contact us by email and provide to us the following information: (1) Your name and address; (2) your business name and address if you use a fictitious name for your guide service; (3) business telephone number; (4) email address if you have one; (5) web address if you have one; (6) NYS guide badge number; (7) whether you offer wading trips, drift boat trips or both; and (8) brief description of the rivers and streams in Oswego County on which you offer guided trips.
Charter Boats
We will list on our Lake Charters page any person who operates a commercial fishing charter service in the area covered by our site. Currently, we will consider for inclusion on the Lake Charters page any person who (1) regularly offers fishing charters on Lake Ontario; (2) who, for at least a substantial part of the fishing season, operates primarily out of a port located in Oswego County, New York, and (3) is currently licensed as a charter captain by the United States Coast Guard.
If you believe you qualify for listing, please contact us by email and provide to us the following information: (1) Your name and address; (2) your business name and address if you use a fictitious name for your charter service; (3) business telephone number; (4) email address if you have one; (5) web address if you have one; (6) acknowledgement that you are licensed as a charter captain by the United States Coast Guard; (7) the length and make of fishing boat(s) used in your business; and (8) the name and location of the port(s) in Oswego County out of which you operate your charter service.
Hotels, Motels, Cabins, Bed and Breakfasts and Campgrounds
We will list on our Accommodations page any business which provides public lodging in the area covered by our site. Currently, we will consider for inclusion on the Accommodations page any business that (1) offers year-round or seasonal lodging or camping to the public, and (2) which is located from Sunset Bay northeast to the Jefferson County line, and which is located approximately within ten miles of Mexico, Pulaski, Altmar or Sandy Creek. Because of the large number of places of accommodation in the City of Oswego, currently we are not listing these places on our site.

Marinas and Boat Launches
We will list on our Marinas and Boat Launches page any business which provides public boat dockage or launching in the area covered by our site. Currently, we will consider for inclusion on the Marinas and Boat Launches page any business that (1) offers year-round or seasonal boat launching or boat slips to the public, (2) is located in Oswego County, New York and (3) is either located on Lake Ontario, or which provides direct boat access to Lake Ontario.
If you believe your business qualifies for listing, please contact us by email and provide to us the following information: (1) Your name and address; (2) your business name and address; (3) business telephone number; (4) email address if you have one; (5) web address if you have one; (6) whether you offer seasonal or transient slips to the public and the number of each type offered, (7) whether you offer boat launching to the public and the daily fee to launch; (8) the maximum size of boat your facilities can accommodate; (9) a brief description of where you business is located and the waterway on which it is located; and (10) any special services or features of interest to anglers.
