The following river guides and drift boats are available for guided trips on the Salmon River and other nearby streams. Some offer only wading trips, some offer only drift boat trips, and some offer both. Most offer trips for chinook and coho salmon in September and October, and steelhead and brown trout trips from October through the end of the season in April or May.

Listed are only guides who are licensed by New York State as of July 2003. Their badge number is provided. The professionalism of guides can vary significantly. Questions you may wish to ask a guide before booking a trip include: (1) their years of experience; (2) whether they operate full-time or only part-time; (3) whether the guide you are talking to will guide the trip or might it be passed off to anther guide; and (4) the duration of the guided trip.
