Report: Got to the river at 8am, put on a big juicy nightcrawler and had my first brown trout in 15 minutes. Nice fight. Saw a huge beaver swimming in the river. Got another strike, bigger this time, lost him after awhile, got a third strike and after a shake of the head he broke my 4lb leader. So then my buddy came over and gave it a try and wouldn't you know he caught that same fish that broke my line and I got my hook back. He went on to catch 2 more - all brown trout and all good size. We went 4 for 6, all Browns, all on nighcrawlers. When the bright sun came out the fishing turned off.

Report:
made a trip up for the weekend with a buddy of mine. a first timer. headed out saturday morning and it didn't take long to find some action my buddy hooked into his fist steelie within the first half and hour. the rain stared up and shut things down for a while. about 20 minutes after the rain stopped the fish turned on. hooked up three fish on four cast through the same piece of water. nothing to big all around 4-5lbs. went fishless for another 15 minutes and then found two more hook ups. one was a really good fish but he got off. in all i went 3 for 5 and my buddy went 0 for 1. it was enought to get him addicticed to chrome. fished a couple of hours on sunday with no action.
