Report: Hung my "Gone Fishing" sign on my desk and headed out. Had a great day of fishing. Saw about 15-20 fisherman in the lower zone which I suspect is a fair number for this time of year. Fished from 11-4, weather was a mix of snow early and sun later. Slow for about the first 2 1/2 hours but it picked up once the sun came out. My brother and I landed one 15lb hen out of 6 total hookups (still trying to figure out how to work my fly fishing gear). Seemed most interested in olive colored bugs. They're there, just have to work for them. Good Luck.

Report: Fished lower fly zone ran into a few friends who said fishing has been slowwwwwwwww and after fishing all day Saturday with not even a bite and only seeing 2 fish hooked i began to realize this wasnt going to be like any other trip weather was cold snowy windchills had to be zero or below, fished sun from 7 till 11:00 saw 5 fish hooked none landed and i lost a nice steelie as well cold and windy and snowy and slow fishing at best so if ure planning a trip up north use ure best judgement and possably be prepared to catch zero best bet wait till water drops and weather is decent just my opinion from what i saw until next time { also did see some ye ha pull a fish from the river in sub zero wind chills for a picture well this iam sure is one dead fish just imagine stick ur hand in the water and see how long it would take to freeze if ure gona get a pic leave the fish in the water}
